Account Manager - ICT Distributor

Established over 20 years, our client is a leading Global Distributor of ICT solutions to both resellers and end
clients, Including Infrastructure, Security and Unified Comms! Due to an exciting period of growth, they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Melbourne team in a National role.
 
You will be part of a National team responsible for maximising revenue within a portfolio of existing clients. Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will pro-actively engage with your accounts at all levels from C to procurement. You will work closely with your client to remove roadblocks to doing deals.
 
You will be responsible for:
*    Competitive analysis
*    Generating & providing customer quotes for complex or custom solutions;
*    Establishing and implementing strategies that will result in increased sales:
*    Developing & presenting programs, solutions, and promotions related to the vendor product line;
*    Providing guidance and training to resellers in selling and supporting our client’s solutions.
 
Probably coming from either a reseller or distributor, you have a strong network with vendors and/or integrators at a business level. You will have a passion for building a career in the IT space and you aspire to be in vendor land ultimately.
 
You must have:
*    Experience working with in distribution;
*    Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
*    Ability to influence at ‘C’ level;
*    Ability to work autonomously;

*    Tenacity to see deals through to completion!
